Yes, the 4-12 and 4-13 shows are great! (I don't remember 4-11 offhand.) Once you've taken Tell's advice and listened to these shows, check out the prequel engagement at the Avalon from 4-4 to 4-6. Sound quality is better in the first two, but there's a killer TOO > DDHNM on 4-6.

And there's another great university show a few days later: Wash U on 4-17!

That's right, Lou; one of the download series I think. This month is just full up--I must have 14-15 shows for April 69! Don't know many months that are close to that number, and as enjoyable...at least for me. Sure, it is largely the same set of songs, the Live Dead/Aoxomoxoa selections, but damn fine...

Yeah, the only other months of similar density in my cache are 10-73 and 5-77. 6-76 is close. I should have more from 5-72 but I haven't gotten around to accumulating all of them. I've just recently been gorging myself on 4-78, and I'm wondering whether the shows I haven't heard from that month come close to those I have. But that's outside your chosen era, IIRC. 2-68 is in the ballpark, but the shows are shorter.

Anybody out there watching the Oklahoma/Mizzou game? Crazy two-point conversion to end the half!
